# PixelSweeper: an Introduction
PixelSweeper (opens new window) is a collection of 10,000 robots, who are busy sweeping the floor on BNBChain and redistributing the swept NFTs back to PixelSweeper holders.
The PixelSweeper collection was created by the Rareboard team as a way of bringing the BNB Chain NFT space together, with one shared goal: sweep the floors.

0.5% from all PixelSweepers sold on Rareboard will be used to sweep the PixelSweeper floor in June (this is in addition to all the Sweeping that is done with PixelSweeper royalties).

# PixelSweeper Inspiration
The Sweepers exist in the same universe as humans (and the Pancake Squad bunnies), but many many years later after the humans have destroyed the planet.
Their role is to sweep. The inspiration for their outfits comes from the Sweepers dressing themselves in the uniforms and costumes of the long forgotten humans who also had jobs sweeping up. Whether it's janitors, soccer players or wizards and witches with their brooms, the Sweeper robots pay homage to those who swept before them.
# PixelSweeper Utility
The Utility for PixelSweeper holders is simple. Stake your NFTs to win NFTs from the top collections on BNB Chain.
The BNB collected by the PixelSweeper mint, and all future revenue, is deployed in the following ways:
- 90% is used to sweep the Pancake Squad NFT floor
- 5% is used sweep the floor of other NFT collections as voted on by PixelSweeper holders
- 5% is designated to the team and artists
The NFTs swept are held on-chain in the Prize Vault and then won by PixelSweeper stakers through weekly prize draws.
There are two Prize Pots: the Staker Pot, which is free to play for anyone staking their Sweeper; and the Player Pot where the tickets cost $1 BUSD and you can buy up to 100 tickets every week for each Sweeper that you have staked.
# Rarity and Ranking
The more rare your PixelSweeper is, the higher chance you have to win from the Prize Vaults. Your rarity bonus is based on the Rarity Score + Sets (R+S) ranking on Rareboard (opens new window).
However, RS+S is not the only way to consider rarity in the PixelSweeper collection. Many collectors prefer to focus on individual traits, especially the Skin of the Sweepers and the eye of the Sweepers.

As longtime members of the BNB Chain community, it was important to the team that they create a project that would truly provide value to the collectors of our NFTs as well as the space as a whole.
BNB Chain is by far the most popular chain for DeFi, with the millions of users on PancakeSwap dwarfing the use of similar services like Uniswap.
